Om Cable Centre

Om Cable Centre is tucked away at 1104/1 Gunti Pole, right in the heart of the Radio Market. If you haven't been here before, Relief Road can be a bit overwhelming because of how many people and vehicles are packed into the space. We are right opposite the Bank of India, which is the best way to find the entrance to our lane. Gunti Pole is one of those narrow spots where you really have to know your way around. Our shop is full of wires, cables, and various connectors piled up to the ceiling. It can be hard to move around sometimes because we have so much stuff squeezed into such a small area. The air in the market is always thick with the smell of street food and old buildings. We spend most of our time untangling things or cutting specific lengths of cable for people who come in. It’s a bit of a noisy environment with all the other shops nearby playing music or testing equipment. We don’t have a fancy showroom, just some bare bulbs and a lot of wooden shelves. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to the Radio Market for decades. It’s a bit of a chaotic way to work, but it’s what we are used to. We keep the ledger by the front door and just mark things down as they go out throughout the day.
