Shree Ashapura Industries

Shree Ashapura Industries is located in the Gururajendra Metal Estate. If you know the Odhav GIDC area, we’re right by the fire station on Ambicanagar Road. It’s a noisy part of town because of all the factories, but we’re used to the sound of machines by now. We’ve got Plot No. B-9 and 10. The workshop is usually full of dust and the smell of metal. We spend most of our hours on the floor making sure things are running right. It isn’t the cleanest place, but that’s what happens when you’re actually working. We have a small group of guys who’ve been with us for a long time. They know how the machines sound when they’re working right and when they’re not. We take breaks when we can, usually sitting outside near the entrance to get some air. The fire station nearby is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We handle a lot of metal work here. It's heavy stuff and the days can be long. Sometimes the power goes out in the GIDC and we just sit around and wait for it to come back on. That’s just life in an industrial estate. We don't spend money on fancy signs or marketing. People mostly know us through word of mouth or because they’ve been coming here for years. It’s just honest work. We try to keep up with the orders, even when things get a bit disorganized.
