Mamta Tarpaulin

You can find us at H 41 in the Odhav GIDC. We’re right near Chotalal Ni Chali, which is a well-known spot around here. Mamta Tarpaulin is a pretty straightforward business. We make and sell tarpaulins for all sorts of uses. Whether it’s for a truck, a roof, or just covering up some goods, we usually have something that fits. The shop is often full of large sheets of material and the sewing machines we use to put them together. It’s a bit of a messy process, but it’s how things get done. The Odhav area is always busy with workers and transport, so there’s never a dull moment outside our door. We aren't a big factory with hundreds of workers. It’s just a small team of us who know how to handle the fabric and get the seams right. Sometimes we have to move everything around just to find enough floor space for a big order. It’s a bit chaotic at times, but we have our own system. People from the neighborhood know us, and we get a lot of repeat business from local drivers who need their loads covered. We don’t bother with fancy packaging or marketing stuff. We just make sure the tarps are strong enough to do the job they’re meant for. It’s been our way of working for years, and we don’t see a reason to change anything.
