Assure Industries

Our workshop is located at 48 Radheshyam Industrial Estate, right across from G.V.M.M. on the S.P. Ring Road. Odhav is a busy area, and being near the Ring Road makes it easy for us to move stuff in and out. The building is a standard industrial unit with high ceilings and plenty of floor space. We spend most of our time out there, rather than sitting in the small office at the front. There’s usually some dust on the shelves and grease on the floor, but that’s normal for what we do. We have a couple of machines that take up most of the room. When they're running, it's hard to hear anything else, so we use hand signals sometimes. We don't have fancy brochures or a shiny website. We just rely on people knowing that we do the work right. The heat in the summer can be a lot, so we have a couple of big fans that we keep pointed at the work areas. It’s a straightforward business with regular hours. We show up, check the list of what needs to be made, and start the machines. Sometimes we stay late if a big shipment is going out the next morning. It’s not glamorous, but it’s our trade and we’ve been doing it a long time. Everything has its place, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. We've got a leaky tap in the back we need to fix.
