Uma Plastic Process

You’ll find Uma Plastic Process tucked away in Vijay Industrial Estate, specifically at number 52. Being in Odhav means we are surrounded by other workshops and factories, so there is always the sound of trucks and loading going on nearby. Our unit isn’t very big, but we’ve managed to fit all our processing equipment inside. It gets quite warm near the machines when they are running full tilt. We spend a lot of our time dealing with plastic granules and molds. There’s a specific smell to the place, that warm plastic scent that you get used to after about ten minutes. We’ve been at this for a long time now. Most mornings start with checking the power and getting the heaters warmed up. We don’t have a big front office or anything like that. Usually, if someone wants to talk, they just come right onto the floor. We try to keep things organized, but with so many bags of raw material and finished parts, it gets a bit crowded. Outside, the Bhikshuk Gruh is a familiar sight for anyone coming to visit. The roads around here can be a bit rough, especially when it rains, but we make it work. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out, without much fuss. The machines keep humming and we keep moving through our daily production lists as best as we can.
