Duplast

Duplast is located out in the Rajeshwari Industrial Estate. Our spot is Plot No. 10, specifically the Paiki No. 5 section. If you are looking for us, we are right near Chottallal Lane in Odhav. Being in an industrial estate means it is never really quiet during the day. There is always the sound of machines running or a forklift moving pallets around somewhere nearby. The floors here are solid concrete and they usually have a bit of dust on them no matter how much we sweep in the morning. We deal with plastics and all the production stuff that goes along with it. It is hard work and the warehouse part of the building can get really hot in the middle of the day. We have a small office section where we keep the paperwork and take calls, but most of the action happens out on the floor. We have been in Odhav for quite a while now. We know the other business owners on the lane and we all kind of look out for each other. It is not a place for suits and ties. We wear work clothes that can get dirty without it being a problem. Most days are spent checking the inventory and making sure things are moving out on time. There is always a truck coming or going. It is just the way life is in this part of town. We just focus on getting the work done and keeping the machines maintained.
