Oceanic Consultants Pvt Ltd is up on the tenth floor of Regency Tower in Vastrapur. It is right near the Management Enclave, so the neighborhood is usually quite busy with people heading to various offices. Our space, A 1004, isn't anything special, but it has enough room for our desks and the old computer monitors we use. We’ve been based in this part of Ahmedabad for a good bit now. Most days are pretty much the same, with the phone ringing and people coming in to ask about paperwork. There is a small window that looks out over the city, which is nice when it rains, though the dust usually covers it up the rest of the year. Getting into the building in the morning can be a bit of a wait because the elevator is slow, but we don't mind much. It gives us a chance to chat with the security guys or the other people working in the tower. We don't really have any fancy slogans or a big corporate vibe here. It’s just us, working through whatever comes across our desks that day. Sometimes it’s quiet, and sometimes it is a bit of a mess with files everywhere, but we manage to get things sorted eventually. Life in Vastrapur is fast, but inside our office, we just keep a steady pace and try to stay on top of the daily tasks without too much fuss.
