Our office is right across from the Jansatta Press in Mirzapur. It’s a busy spot with a lot of movement from the press workers and people coming into the city. We deal with immigration papers, which means our desks are usually covered in files, passports, and various forms. It’s a lot of reading and checking details over and over again. We don't have a fancy lobby with leather chairs. It’s just a functional space where we get the work done. People come to us when they are trying to figure out how to get their visas sorted or when they have a lot of questions about moving abroad. We spend a lot of time on the phone or staring at the computer screen. Mirzapur is a bustling area, and being near the press makes it easy for people to find us. Sometimes the noise from the printing machines carries over, but we don't mind it. It’s just the sound of the neighborhood. We aren't here to make big promises. We just look at the documents and tell people what the next step is. It’s practical work that requires a lot of patience. We’ve been at this for a while now, and we’ve seen all sorts of different cases come through. It’s just a regular office doing its best to stay on top of all the rules and regulations. It’s a lot of paperwork, but someone has to do it. We close up at a decent hour most days.
