N.J. Steel

If you are ever near the Havmor Restaurant in Navrangpura, you might have seen our sign for N.J. Steel. We are tucked away in the Nirman Complex at Plot No. B-507. It is a busy area, especially around lunch time when everyone is out. We have been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. Dealing with steel is not the cleanest job, but it keeps us busy. We mostly deal with local builders and people who need bits of metal for their own projects at home. The office gets a bit dusty because of all the traffic outside, but we do not mind it much. My father started this whole thing, and I just sort of took over when he wanted to rest. We do not have a big team, just a few of us who actually know the inventory. Sometimes the phones do not stop ringing and other days it is quiet enough to actually get some cleaning done. We do not use any fancy software to track things, mostly just notebooks and our own memory. Navrangpura is a good place to be based, even with the parking troubles. People know they can find us right across from the restaurant. It is a landmark that everyone recognizes around here. We just try to get the orders right and move on to the next one. It is a simple life running a steel business here. Nothing too complicated about it.
