Nilkanth Sales

We are at Shiromani Complex, which is really close to the Baroda Expressway highway. Being on CTM Road in Amraiwadi means there is a lot of heavy traffic and dust all the time. Our shop at number 04 is where we handle all the sales stuff. It’s a good location because the trucks coming off the highway can find us pretty easily, though the road gets very crowded in the evenings. We sell a variety of items and the shelves are usually packed tight. It’s a small space, so we have to be organized, or we’d never find anything. Most of our day is spent talking to customers who stop by or dealing with suppliers who are dropping off new stock. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s a practical place for people who need to get things done. We have a small computer in the back for the billing, but most of the work is just manual. The tea stalls nearby are where we usually end up during the afternoon break. The highway noise is something you just stop hearing after a few weeks of working here. We don’t have any big corporate goals. We just want to sell our products and make sure the inventory is correct at the end of the month. Amraiwadi is a tough, hardworking area, and we fit right in with the other shops in the complex. We usually lock up around eight and head home through the traffic. It’s a long day but the business stays steady.
