If you go to G/3 in the Ayodhyanagar Society in Ahmedabad, you’ll find us. Niki Desai Steel & Logistics operates out of this ground-floor spot. It’s a typical Gujarat neighborhood, and we’ve been part of it for a while now. Dealing with steel and logistics means things can get a bit noisy and heavy, but we’ve found our rhythm. Our office isn't meant for showing off. It’s where we coordinate trucks and keep track of inventory. There’s usually a calendar on the wall with lots of scribbles and a stack of delivery notes on the desk. We don’t use big words to describe what we do. It’s just about getting things from one place to another without too much trouble. The 380013 area is where we live and breathe. We know the local guys and the shortcuts around the city. It’s a hands-on kind of business. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us, the phones, and the paperwork. Some days are long, especially when a shipment is delayed, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s an honest way to make a living. We’re not looking to be the biggest, just to be reliable enough that people know where to find us. Ayodhyanagar is a decent place for a business like ours. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the work at hand.
