We are up on the first floor of Parth Empire in Maninagar. It’s a busy building number 24, and you have to climb the stairs or take the lift to get to us. Ahmedabad is always noisy, and Maninagar is no different. You can hear the traffic and the people downstairs all day long. Our space isn't huge, but we make it work with rows of desks and some whiteboards. Students come in and out for their sessions, usually carrying heavy bags and looking a bit tired from the commute. We spend a lot of time at the front desk handling paperwork and answering the phone. It’s mostly just us trying to keep things organized in a crowded city. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles when it gets really hot outside, so we just open a window and deal with the street noise. There is a small corner where we keep the kettle for tea. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few schedules pinned up with tape. It’s not a fancy corporate office, just a place where people come to learn something and then head back home. We see people from all over Ahmedabad. Usually, the afternoons are the busiest when the college crowd arrives. We try to keep the floors clean, but with so many feet coming through, it is a constant battle. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation here in the heart of the city, and we just keep the lights on for whoever shows up.
