You have to go down to the cellar to find us at shop thirty-six in Janpath Complex. We are right across from the Capital Commercial Centre, not far from Nehru Bridge on Ashram Road. Being in the basement means it stays a bit cooler than the street level, which is nice during the summer months. It is a bit cramped in here because we have so many boxes of phones and cables piled up. We don’t have windows, so we rely on the overhead tubes to see what we are doing. It’s a practical space, nothing more. We’ve been at Neptune Telecom for a while now. Most people find us because they are already in the complex for something else. The stairs can be a bit steep, so you have to watch your step coming down. We spend most of our time answering phones or checking the latest models that come in. It isn't a big operation, just a couple of us working side by side. We have a small table in the corner where we eat our lunch most days. Sometimes the signal isn't great down here, ironically, but we manage. We don’t go for any of that corporate style; we just wear our regular clothes and talk to people like neighbors. It is a good spot to work, even if it’s a bit hidden away from the main sidewalk.
