Surya Impex

We have been running things from Diamond Square for quite a while now. If you know Ashram Road, you know how busy it gets, especially near the Navjivan Press area. Our office is right there, and most days are just a blur of phone calls and checking on shipments. It’s not a fancy setup, just a practical space where we handle all the Surya Impex business. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we have to shut the windows tight just to hear the person on the other end of the line. We’ve got desks piled with folders and a couple of computers that have seen better days, but they do the job. My morning usually starts with a quick tea from the stall downstairs before heading up to check what arrived overnight. We spend a lot of time talking to transporters and making sure the paperwork for the exports is actually correct. It is a lot of back and forth, really. Being near the press means there is always something happening around us, which is nice in a way. The building itself, Diamond Square, is easy to find, which helps when people are dropping off samples or picking up documents. We do not really go for anything flashy here. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure nothing gets stuck at the port or in a warehouse somewhere. It’s a bit of a grind, but that’s just how this business works on Ashram Road.
