Bhawani Impex Corporation is based right in the middle of everything at 72/3 Kabutarkhana in Chokha Bazza. Kalupur is always loud and moving, which suits us just fine. We spend most of our time dealing with the hustle of the market. The shop isn't big, but we pack it full of whatever needs to go out that week. It gets dusty with all the bags moving around, and the tea guy comes by twice a day, which is the best part of the morning. We don’t have a fancy website or a big sign. People just look for the number 72/3 and find us. Managing things in such a busy area means you have to be quick. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to the guys who load the trucks. The streets are narrow, so getting stuff in and out takes some practice. It's just hard work and keeping the records straight in our ledgers. We’ve been in this spot for a good while and know most of the neighbors. If you walk past the grain sellers, you'll see us. It’s a simple operation, nothing special to look at, but we get the orders shipped. We stay busy from morning until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. There's always someone shouting outside or a cart going by, but that's just Kalupur life. We keep a few chairs for guests, though they usually end up holding boxes instead.
