Kajal Steel

Kajal Steel is right off National Highway 8 in Naroda, not too far from the Sutar Karkhana. If you’ve ever driven that way, you know it’s a lot of trucks and dust. We’ve been operating out of this spot near Unnati Estate for a good bit of time. Dealing with steel isn’t exactly a clean job. There is usually a lot of noise from the machines and the loading going on outside. We handle various bits of metal, moving things around with the crane when it’s working right. Some days are hotter than others, especially in the summer when the warehouse feels like an oven. We aren't a big corporation with shiny offices; we have a small desk where we keep the ledger and some chairs that have seen better days. The guys here have been working with steel for years, so they know what they’re doing with the cutters and the stock. It’s honest work. Sometimes the traffic on the highway makes getting deliveries in a bit of a headache. We just try to get the orders ready for whoever needs them, whether it’s a small builder or someone just fixing up their shop. It’s loud, it’s messy, and it’s how we make a living. You can find us by looking for the gate near the estate. We’re usually there from early morning until the sun goes down and the heavy traffic finally thins out.
