We are located at Plot No. 14 in Phase III of the GIDC in Naroda. Ashish Ferro Met Pvt. Ltd. is where we handle various types of metal work every single day. The Naroda industrial area is always busy, and our plot is right in the middle of it. We have heavy equipment and a lot of raw materials scattered around the floor. It’s not the cleanest place, as working with ferro alloys and metals tends to get everything a bit grimy. We wear our old clothes because there’s no point in trying to stay spotless here. The heat from the processes can be intense, especially during the peak of summer. We don't have any big signs or advertisements. People who need what we do usually know where to find us in Phase III. We spend a lot of time checking the weights and the quality of the batches we produce. Sometimes the machines act up, and we have to spend half the day with a wrench in hand. It’s a lot of manual labor and keeping an eye on the clock for the shift changes. We eat our lunch together in a small shaded area when we get a break. It’s a tough job but it’s what we know. We’ve been part of this GIDC community for years and we just keep the work moving.
