A-One Fabricators

If you head down to Mansuri Compound near the railway crossing in Naroda, you’ll find us. We are tucked behind the Ingersoll Rand building in the GIDC area at No. 431/1H. Being an industrial spot, it’s rarely quiet. There is always the sound of metal hitting metal or the hum of welding machines. A-One Fabricators is really just a bunch of us who enjoy working with our hands. The compound gets quite dusty, and it’s definitely not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. We are usually in our work clothes, covered in a bit of grease or iron filings. The railway crossing nearby means we hear the trains go by all day long, but after a while, you stop noticing it. We handle all sorts of fabrication jobs. Some days we are making small parts, other days it’s much bigger structures. It’s hot work, especially in the summer, but we have a couple of big fans that help. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. Most people find us because they saw our work somewhere else or someone told them about the shop in Naroda. It’s honest work, and we take it one job at a time. The floors are concrete and the roof is tin, but it’s where we spend most of our lives getting things built.
