Aeromatic Dyestuff Industries

Our place is at Plot No. C1/272 in Phase 1 of the GIDC. Aeromatic Dyestuff Industries has been operating here for quite some time. If you know anything about dyestuffs, you know it’s a lot of chemistry and a lot of color. The floor of the factory usually has some stains on it, no matter how much we scrub. That’s just the nature of working with dyes. We’re right in the middle of the industrial zone, so there’s always a hum of machinery from our neighbors. We spend our hours measuring out powders and checking the vats. It’s hot work, especially in the summer months when the sun beats down on the roof. We have a crew that’s been with us for years, and they know the machines better than anyone. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just focus on getting the batches right so they can be shipped out to the textile mills. It’s a lot of routine work, but it takes a lot of attention to detail to make sure the shade is consistent every time. Sometimes the shipments are late, or a machine breaks down, and we all have to pitch in to fix it. It’s just a normal day at the GIDC for us. We keep things simple and keep the production line moving as best as we can.
