Nand Steel

Nand Steel is based out in Bopal, specifically in Maruti Nagar right along the Ring Road. It is a very busy area these days because of all the new construction going on. Our yard is usually filled with steel, which isn't the most beautiful thing to look at, but it’s what we do. You can hear the sound of metal being moved around all day long. Being on the Ring Road is helpful because it makes it easier for the big trucks to get to us. The downside is that it gets very dusty with all the traffic and the wind. We have a small cabin on the site where we do our paperwork and talk to anyone who stops by. It’s a very simple setup with just the basics. We’ve seen Bopal grow from a quiet outskirts area to a major part of the city. We just keep our focus on the steel business. We don't really do any advertising or marketing. Most of our customers are people who are building something nearby and saw our sign. It’s a straightforward, no-nonsense kind of place. We weigh the material, collect the payment, and help get it loaded. It’s a lot of manual work and we get our hands dirty every day, but that is just the nature of the job. We’re just a regular local business doing our thing.
