Namrata Electricals

Our shop is located on the first floor of Akshar Park 2, specifically shop number eight. We are right opposite the Police Commissioner Office and across from Krishna Dairy in Shahibaug. Being on the first floor means people have to walk up the stairs, but we still get plenty of visitors. We deal with all sorts of electrical supplies. The shop is narrow, so we have shelves going all the way up to the ceiling. I usually have to use a ladder to reach the stuff on the top rows. It’s a bit of a workout every day. The view from the window looks out over the street, which is always busy with police vehicles and people going to the dairy. We have a small fan that rattles a bit, but it helps when the sun hits the window in the morning. My brother and I take turns running the place. We don't have a big staff or anything like that. It’s just a family-run spot. We’ve been here for quite a while now and we know most of the people who work in the nearby offices. We don't have any flashy signs or posters. Just the goods on the shelves and us behind the counter. It’s a simple way to spend the day, and we are happy to be part of the Shahibaug community. We just take things as they come.
