N. N. Steel

N. N. Steel is located at Door No.- 10, Kirti Sagar, right near the Hotel Fortune Landmark in Usmanpura. Being in this part of town means there is always something happening nearby. We deal in steel, which is heavy and dirty work most of the time. Our office is not anything special to look at, just some desks and a lot of ledgers. We spend the day quoting prices and arranging for trucks to move metal around the city. The steel market goes up and down, so it keeps us on our toes. We have a lot of regular contractors who come in. They do not want a sales pitch; they just want to know if the rebar or the sheets are in stock today. We try to be straight with them. If a delivery is going to be late because of traffic near the hotel, we tell them. It is better than making excuses. We have been at this location for a good while, and we know the shortcuts through the side streets. The heat near the stacks of metal can be intense during the day. We do not use much fancy language here. We just talk about gauges and weights and delivery dates. It is a practical business for people who are actually building things. We keep the doors open and the phone line clear. It is just us, some steel, and a lot of hard work every single day.
