Movie Club

Movie Club is situated at 5 Sarthi Avenue, right across from Revati Tower on Ramdevnagar Road. This part of the Satellite area is always full of life, with families and students constantly on the move. We’ve been here for a long time, watching the neighborhood grow and change around us. Sarthi Avenue is a familiar spot for most people in this neck of the woods. Our space is pretty simple—just a place where movies and people come together. It isn't a flashy cinema or anything like that; it’s more of a neighborhood hangout for people who still appreciate having a physical place to visit. Sometimes the road outside gets really jammed up with traffic, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home, but that’s just part of living in Satellite. We don’t use corporate slogans or try to sound like a big chain. It’s just us running the place, keeping the shelves organized, and chatting with whoever comes in. We’ve seen formats change from old tapes to discs and now everything else, but the core of what we do stays the same. The shop has a bit of a lived-in feel, which we like. It’s not sterile or polished. We just open up, put on some background music, and wait for the regulars to stop by. It’s a comfortable routine that hasn’t changed much over the years, and we’re quite happy with that. We remember which movies everyone used to like back then.
