Indo American Trading Company

We’ve been based right across from St. Xavier High School on Mirzapur Road for quite some time now. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets when the school bell rings and all the kids come pouring out onto the street. Indo American Trading Company is just a regular office where we handle our daily trading business. It isn't anything fancy or high-tech. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and checking on shipments that are moving around. The desks are usually piled with files and we drink a lot of tea while we work through the afternoon heat. Being on Mirzapur Road means there is always noise from the traffic and the local vendors nearby. We like the spot because everyone knows where the school is, so it makes finding us pretty simple. Sometimes the internet is slow or the street gets blocked by a delivery truck, but we just manage. We don’t have a big corporate team, just a few of us making sure things get where they need to go. It’s a lot of routine work, checking weights and prices and talking to drivers. We’ve seen the buildings around us get older and the shops change hands, but we’re still here doing the same thing every day. It’s a bit dusty sometimes with the windows open, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We don't try to make it sound more exciting than it is.
