We are over at 301 White Cross, which is part of the Patel Society on Gulbai Tekra Road. This area of Panchvati is pretty well-known in Ahmedabad. Our office is on the third floor and it’s where we handle all the paperwork for our dyes and intermediates business. It’s a busy place with phones ringing and people talking about chemical shipments. We have been in this location for a good while and it feels like home now. The building is a bit older but it serves us well. We don't have any fancy decorations, just the usual office furniture and a lot of files stacked in the corners. The heat in Ahmedabad can be something else, so we are glad for the air conditioning during the summer months. Most of our work involves coordinating between the factories and the customers. We spend a lot of time on the computer checking orders and making sure the logistics are sorted out. There are some nice trees outside the society which makes the view a bit better when we look out. We usually go out for tea in the afternoon to the little stall down the road to stretch our legs. It’s a straightforward operation here. We just focus on the business of dyes and try to keep everything moving smoothly. It’s not glamorous, but it is honest work that keeps us all busy from morning until evening.
