Maruti Steel Trading

If you're driving down the main road in the Nikol area, you’ll probably see us at Plot No. 301. Maruti Steel Trading is basically just a big yard where we move a lot of metal every single day. There’s always a truck coming in or going out, so it can get a bit hectic around the entrance, especially in the mornings. We deal with steel all day, so it’s heavy work and everything is covered in a bit of grit. My clothes usually have some rust marks by the end of the shift, but that’s just how it goes when you’re handling steel for a living. We aren't interested in being the biggest or the flashiest place on the block. We just want to make sure the inventory is right and the customers get what they asked for without a headache or a long wait. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit messy in the yard, but we keep pushing through regardless. The office is just a small corner where we keep the books and take calls. Most of the action happens outside with the cranes and the loaders. People in Nikol know us as the place on the main road that’s always got stacks of pipes or sheets piled up. We don’t do much advertising; word of mouth seems to work fine around here. It’s a straightforward business. We buy steel, we store it, and we sell it. It’s what we’ve done for years and we'll keep doing it.
