Our place is located in Botad, over at Vrindavan Society on Paliyad Road. It is a quiet spot most of the time compared to the bigger cities nearby. We are in the Bhavnagar district of Gujarat. The office is at house number 5. It feels more like a home than a big corporate building which is actually quite nice for the staff who work here every day. We deal with bioscience stuff so there is always a lot of technical talk and paperwork piled up on the desks. We have been here for a bit and everyone in the society knows us. In the morning we usually have some tea and then get straight into checking the logs and the shipments. Sometimes the courier takes a bit longer to find us because we are tucked in a residential area but we manage fine. The weather here can get really dry. We spend a lot of time looking at labels and making sure all the bottles or supplies are where they should be in the storage area. It is not flashy work. It is mostly just keeping track of things and making sure we do not miss any small details. Sometimes we have to drive out to Bhavnagar for supplies or to attend meetings. The road to Paliyad is usually okay but it can get very dusty in the summer. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. There are just a few of us here.
