Mahavir Rolling Mill Ltd. is located down in the Gidc Industrial Estate in Vatva at Phase-Iv. Our spot is at Door No-2410 and it is usually a very busy area with a lot of noise coming from the other factories nearby. The mill runs most of the day and you can hear the machines working even from the street outside. It is a big industrial space and things can get a bit messy with the grease and the metal scraps lying around but we try to keep it decent for everyone working here. Being in Vatva means you are always surrounded by trucks and heavy machinery. The air smells like iron and smoke most of the time. Inside the gates we have the main mill area where the heavy work happens and then a small space for the staff to take their breaks. We have been at this location for some time now and most people in this part of the Gidc industrial area know where Door No-2410 is. It is not the cleanest work in the world but it is what we do every day. Sometimes the power goes out and we all just sit outside in the shade and wait for it to come back on. The guys who work here are mostly locals or people who moved to Vatva specifically for the factory work. We just focus on getting the rolling done and making sure the loads are ready when the drivers show up.
