You can find Madhav Steel tucked away behind the Gujarat Glass Compound. We are right by the Baroda Express Highway in Amraiwadi, so the sound of the trucks is pretty much constant. It’s a rough and ready kind of place, mostly just stacks of steel and the smell of cutting oil. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, handling all sorts of metal for whoever needs it. It’s heavy work and our hands are usually dirty by ten in the morning. We don't have a fancy showroom or a website that looks professional. Instead, we have a yard full of material and a couple of guys who know how to move it around. If you need something specific, you just come down and ask. Sometimes we have it, sometimes we have to wait for a delivery to come in from the highway. Amraiwadi is a busy industrial area, so we fit right in with the noise and the grit. We try to be fair with people and just do the work as it comes in. There’s no big strategy here, just cutting steel and loading up trucks. We know our way around the different grades of metal and what they are good for. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us going through the week.
