Our office is at C/28 in Panchratna Society. It is tucked away behind the Panchvati Old Octroy area in Gorwa, Vadodara. If you are coming from the main road, you have to look closely for the turnoff near the old landmark or you might miss it. M S Essar Project Management Consultant Ltd is the full name we use for all our official papers, and we are part of the Essar Group. The office is not anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular building in a residential-feeling society. We spend a lot of time looking at schedules and managing different projects from these desks. It gets a bit crowded when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work somehow. Vadodara is a good place to be based, even if the heat in Gujarat gets a bit much during May and June. We have a few files piled up on every corner, and the printer usually jams when you are in a real hurry to leave. That is just how it goes here. People stop by sometimes to talk about upcoming work, and we sit around the small table in the back room. There is not a lot of decor on the walls, just some maps and calendars to keep track of the dates. We have been in Gorwa for some time now. It is a quiet enough spot once you get off the main street. We just come in and do the work.
