Lion Metal Works

You can find Lion Metal Works over at Plot No. 505-506 in the Gidc area of Odhav. It’s a real industrial spot, so don't expect anything quiet or pretty. We are right opposite the Asian Mirror building and quite close to Swadeshi Tiles. If you go behind the C.M.C. Factory, you’ll see us. It’s a big plot with a lot going on. The workshop is where the main action is, and it’s usually quite noisy with the sound of metal being worked. Our office is just a small partitioned section where we try to keep the noise out so we can hear the phone. It’s often a bit hot, and the smell of grease and metal is everywhere. We don't have any fancy brochures or a glossy lobby. People come here when they need things done, and they usually find us in the middle of a job. We’ve been at this address for a long time, so we’ve seen the Gidc area change quite a bit. There’s a lot of dust from the road and the nearby factories, so we spend a fair amount of time cleaning our desks. It’s a simple, hardworking place. We don't put on any shows for anyone. We just open the gates early in the morning and stay until the work is finished for the day. It’s a very practical way to run a metal works business. We deal with the real stuff, day in and day out.
