Our research and technology institute is located at 2516, Laxminagar Nursery in the Sabarmati area. We are right near Ionex Engineering Co. and the old Octroy Naka. This part of Ahmedabad is quite industrial and busy, which fits the kind of work we do at Ldrp Institute Of Technology Research. The facility isn't brand new, but it's got everything we need to keep our research going. We spend most of our time in the labs or at our desks going over data and technical drawings. Being near the engineering company means there’s always a bit of an industrial feel to the air around here. We have a small courtyard where people sometimes sit during their lunch breaks to get some fresh air. The building itself is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it, with different rooms dedicated to various technical tasks. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you’ll just find one of us working on something near the entrance. It’s a practical environment for people who actually like to get their hands dirty with technology and research. The commute through Sabarmati can be a bit of a challenge with the traffic near Octroy Naka, but we’re all used to it by now. It’s just a regular place where we try to make sense of complex technical things every day without any unnecessary fuss or grand claims about the future.
