Krishna Paint Industries

Krishna Paint Industries is tucked away at Plot No. 59, A/49 in the Mahalaxmi Audyogic Vasahat. It’s right across from the Kiran Industries bus stop in Phase-I of Vatva GIDC. If you’ve ever been to this part of Ahmedabad, you know it’s a very busy industrial area. We do a lot of work with colors and chemicals here. There’s usually a faint smell of thinner in the air, and you’ll often see splashes of different paints on the floor or on our overalls. It’s a production environment, so it’s not meant to be pretty. We have various drums and mixing machines running throughout the day. Some days we're focused on making big batches, and other times we’re just sorting out smaller orders. The bus stop outside brings a lot of people by, so it never feels lonely. We’ve been in this spot for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The heat in the shed can be intense during the summer months, but we just get on with it. We don’t have a fancy marketing team or a shiny storefront. It’s just a place where we make paint. Sometimes we run out of a certain pigment and have to wait for a delivery, which can be annoying, but that’s how it goes. Our hands are usually stained with whatever we were mixing that morning. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It’s a small operation but it keeps us busy every day.
