You can find us over at the Shivalik Business Centre, specifically in unit C/102 on the first floor. We are tucked behind the Rajpath Club in the Bodakdev area, just off the S.G. Highway. It’s a good spot, though the parking can be a real headache some days. At Knead It Bakers Llp, we spend a lot of our time dealing with flour, yeast, and ovens. The smell of baking bread usually fills the hallway, which some of our neighbors like and others probably find annoying. It’s a fairly small space for a bakery operation, so we have to be careful not to trip over each other. We started this because we liked working with our hands. We don't have a big corporate structure; it's just a few of us who know how to handle dough. Most of our morning is spent prepping, and by the afternoon, we are usually cleaning up the mess we made. The counters are almost always covered in a fine layer of flour no matter how much we scrub them. We aren't trying to be the biggest bakery in Ahmedabad, just a reliable one. We deal with our suppliers directly and sometimes things go wrong with the machines, but we fix them and keep going. It’s a lot of physical work, standing on our feet all day, but we prefer it that way. It keeps us busy and out of trouble.
