National Steel Processor

Started the shop at Plot 222 a long time ago. Road No. 2 in the Gidc is usually crowded with trucks and people moving things around. We spend most of our days dealing with steel. It is heavy, hard work and my hands are usually covered in grease or iron dust by noon. We take the raw metal and process it however the job requires. Sometimes that means cutting it into specific sizes or straightening out long rods that came in bent. There is a lot of noise from the saws and the overhead crane moving back and forth. It’s not a fancy place. We have a small office in the corner where we keep the records, but mostly we are out on the floor. The weather gets really hot in the summer and the metal stays warm long after the sun goes down. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. People just know where we are located. We have a few machines that have been with us since the start and they still run fine if you treat them right. Every morning starts with a cup of tea and looking at the pile of steel that needs to be moved. It’s just what we do here. Some days are faster than others. We just try to get the orders ready so the drivers can load up and get out before the evening traffic starts on the main road.
