Kansara Popatlal Tibhorandas Metal (P) Ltd. is located at Block No- 1820/2 in the Shah Industrial Estate. We are right opposite the G. E. B. on the Sola-Kalol Road. It’s a bit of a mouthful of a name, but it’s been that way for a long time. We work with different types of metal here. The industrial estate is always humming with activity. Our building is pretty functional. We have a lot of storage space for the materials we handle. It's not a place where you'd want to wear nice clothes because of all the metal dust and oil. We spend our days loading and unloading trucks and checking the inventory. The office is just a small room with a couple of old desks and a lot of ledgers. We don't go in for any modern office design. We just need a place to sit and do the billing. Sometimes the road outside gets really busy with heavy trucks, especially near the G. E. B. station. We’ve got a small group of workers who know the business well. We aren't doing anything flashy. We just buy and sell metal and make sure the customers get what they asked for. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping track of weights. We just keep at it and don't worry about much else besides the daily tasks. Sometimes we stay late to finish loading a truck that arrived at the last minute.
