Our office is on the ninth floor of the Span Trade Centre, specifically unit 903. We are right in the Paldi area of Ahmedabad. If you know where the Paldi Cross Road is, we are very close to that spot. Kochrab Ashram is just opposite us, which is a good landmark for people who haven't visited this building before. Working from the ninth floor gives us a bit of a view of the city, though we are usually too busy with our work to look out the window much. The office is basically just a workspace where we handle consultancy stuff. It gets quite warm in the summers, so the AC is always running. We have a lot of cupboards for all the client records we have to maintain. It is a professional space but it feels like home because most of us have been working together for a long time. We drink a lot of tea while going through data and reports. People come in and out throughout the day for meetings or just to hand over files. It can get a bit hectic near the end of the month when deadlines are close. There is nothing fancy about the way we work. We just sit at our desks, do the calculations, and talk to the people who need our help with their paperwork. It is a steady routine that keeps the day moving along until it is time to lock up.
