The Jyotiba B Ed College for Women, along with the Surajba Pre PTC program, is out in Bopal at the Tejas Shiksha Sankul. We are right on the Bopal Ghuma Road. It is a part of town that has changed a lot lately with all the new buildings going up. The campus is a decent size, and there are always women coming and going for their teaching courses. It feels like a real community here because everyone is working toward the same goal of being in a classroom one day. The Tejas Shiksha Sankul building has a lot of rooms and it gets quite busy in the mornings. We have been here through the dusty years when the roads were still being finished. Now it is a bit easier to get to, but the traffic can still be a mess sometimes. Inside, things are pretty simple. We have classrooms with chalkboards and rows of desks. It is not a flashy place, but it serves its purpose for the students from around the area. The staff knows most of the students by name, and we try to keep things running on time, though sometimes meetings run over. It is a practical environment where the focus is just on the curriculum and getting through the training modules. We do not have fancy cafes or anything, just a place to study and learn how to teach.
