Jobs Welfare Trust

Jobs Welfare Trust is located at 488, Prabhugocal `S Pole, in the Kachwado area of Raipur, Ahmedabad. Being in a "Pole" means we are right in the heart of the old city vibes, where the buildings are close together and everyone knows everyone else’s business. Our office is a humble spot. We try to help with job-related welfare, which usually means helping someone write a letter or finding out about a government scheme. It isn't a high-tech operation. We have a couple of old computers and some wooden benches for people to sit on while they wait. The address 380 001 is where we’ve been for quite some time now. The street outside is narrow and can get quite noisy with all the scooters and people walking by. We don't have any big funding or a fancy board of directors. It’s just a few of us who wanted to do something useful for the neighborhood. Sometimes it’s rewarding, and other times it’s just frustrating when the system doesn’t work the way it should. We drink a lot of tea and talk to anyone who walks in the door needing some guidance. It’s a bit messy and disorganized sometimes, but that’s just how things are when you’re right in the middle of a busy neighborhood like Raipur. We just do our best with what we have each day and hope it helps someone.
