Sonal Textile Industries

We are located at B/5 in the J. K. Estate, which sits right opposite Rustam Mill on Dudheshwar Road. This area has always been about textiles, so we fit right in with the rest of the businesses around here. It’s an old part of town and the building has seen better days, but it’s where we do all our work. Inside Sonal Textile Industries, there are rows of machines and heaps of fabric waiting to be processed. The air always smells a bit like cotton and machine oil. It’s a bit of a maze once you get inside with all the crates and rolls of cloth piled up. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. We just come in, start the machines, and make sure the production stays on track. Dudheshwar Road is always busy with traffic, so there’s a constant hum of engines outside our door. Sometimes the trucks for the mills get stuck and block the entrance for a bit. We just work around it. Most of us live nearby, so we’ve known each other for a long time. It’s a lot of repetitive work, watching the threads and making sure nothing snaps. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the fabric we send out is decent and that we get our orders finished on time. It’s just how things go here at the estate.
