We’re located at House Number 18(A) on Road Number 16 in Zakirnagar. It’s in the Mango area of Jamshedpur, which is usually quite crowded and full of life. If you’ve ever tried to cross the Mango bridge at peak hour, you know exactly what the commute is like for us. We’ve set up shop here for Jindal Steel & Power Ltd in a regular house, which makes us feel more like part of the local neighborhood. It’s near the P.O. Azadnagar, so we get our mail without too much trouble. The area has its own rhythm, and we’ve fallen right into it. The building itself is just a standard residential structure converted for our needs. We have a few rooms for the office stuff and a bit of space for people to sit. It gets a bit noisy with the sounds of the street outside—kids playing, vendors calling out, and the general hum of Jamshedpur. We don’t bother with corporate manuals or anything like that. We just know what needs to be done each morning and we do it. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait for the generator or take a break until it comes back. It’s an honest way to work. We are just local people managing things for a big name, but doing it in a very small-town, personal way. Even with the pin code 382110 on the letterhead, we are firmly rooted right here in the Mango streets.
