Jindal Saw Ltd.

Down here at C-46 in Vikram Aditya Society, Jindal Saw Ltd. has its office right across from the Bajrang Ashram. We are situated in Thakkar Nagar, right along National Highway 8. Since we are on the highway, we see a lot of trucks and heavy vehicles passing by at all hours. It feels like the right place for an industrial company to be. The society itself is a mix of different businesses and some residences. Our office is pretty basic. We have a few computers, some chairs for visitors, and plenty of stacks of paper. It isn’t the quietest spot because of the N.H.8 traffic, but you get used to the sound of the horns after a couple of days. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working through spreadsheets. There’s a small shop nearby where we usually get our tea in the morning and afternoon. The Ahmedabad heat can be tough, especially in the summer, so we try to keep the place as cool as possible. We don’t really have a big marketing team here; it’s just us doing the daily chores that keep a company like this moving. We deal with the logistics and the administrative side of the pipe business. It is hard work, but it's what we do. We’ve been at this address for a while and the locals in Thakkar Nagar know us well enough by now.
