Jindal Mectec Pvt. Ltd. is located in the New Vadaj area of Ahmedabad. We operate out of an apartment, specifically B-404 in the Kaveri Apartment complex. It’s a bit different from a traditional office building because it feels much more like a regular home environment. We have our desks set up in the different rooms, and the kitchen serves as our break area where we make tea and eat lunch together. New Vadaj is a crowded part of the city, and finding parking for visitors can sometimes be a bit of a challenge around the apartment blocks. We deal with various technical projects and the office is usually filled with the sound of keyboards and people talking on their mobiles to clients. Because we are in a residential building, we try to keep things relatively quiet so we don't disturb the neighbors living on the same floor. We don't have a big sign out front or a fancy lobby to greet people. If you come to see us, you just buzz the apartment and come up the stairs or take the lift like any other visitor. It’s a very practical setup for us because it keeps our overhead low and we are right in the heart of the city where things happen. We’ve been here for a while now, and the apartment has become our second home. It’s not a polished corporate space, but it’s where all the real work happens.
