You can find Jimmy Computers Caltronics Sales & Service on the first floor of Harsiddh Chambers. We are at number 8, right near the Income Tax Circle on Ashram Road. This is a major part of the city where a lot of the big offices are located. Being on the first floor means we are slightly removed from the street noise, but we still hear the traffic from the circle all day long. The office is a mix of old computers, spare parts, and desks. We do both sales and repairs, so there is always something being taken apart or put back together. It’s a bit of a workshop vibe rather than a sleek retail store. We have some regular customers who have been coming to us for years since Ashram Road is such a central hub. The building has an old-school feel to it, with wide corridors and heavy doors. We usually have a lot of coffee or tea while we work because the days can get long. We aren't interested in being the flashiest computer shop in Ahmedabad. We just want to fix the things that are broken and sell stuff that works. It’s practical, honest work. Sometimes the stairs are faster than the lift if you are in a hurry. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of jobs we have each day.
