Jaypee Exports & Imports

We operate out of Kuwait, dealing with a variety of exports and imports. Being based here means we have to deal with the heat and the specific way things are done in this part of the world. Jaypee Exports & Imports is a small operation, mostly focused on getting goods from one border to another. It’s a lot of coordination between different regions. The office is quiet most of the time, except when the phones start ringing in the afternoon. We spend a lot of our day looking at shipping schedules and making sure the containers are being loaded correctly. It is a lot of responsibility because things can go wrong very quickly in this business. We don't have a big corporate office; it’s just a practical space where we can keep our files and meet with the occasional visitor. Living and working in Kuwait has its own set of challenges, especially with the language and the different regulations we have to follow. We just take it one day at a time. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to do our job well enough that people keep coming back to us. The work can be tiring, but it feels good when a shipment finally reaches its destination after weeks of planning. We mostly keep to ourselves and focus on the logistics that keep the business moving forward. Sometimes the paperwork gets confusing with all the different stamps required, but that's just how it goes here. We make sure to double-check everything before the day ends so we don't have surprises tomorrow. Most of our clients have been with us a while, so they know how we work and what to expect when they call us up.
