Jay Bhavani Press Works/Shree Meladi Press Works

Jay Bhavani Press Works, which some people also know as Shree Meladi Press Works, is based in the Mahavir Metal Compound in Odhav. We are located right near the Aapa Hotel, which is the main landmark people use to find us. Being in a metal compound means it is never really quiet here. There is always the sound of machines running and metal being moved around. Our workshop is a functional space, filled with the presses and tools we use every day. It’s a bit oily and the floor is concrete, but it’s where we do our best work. Odhav is a heavy industrial area, so we fit right in with the surrounding shops and factories. We spend most of our shift at the machines, making sure everything is running the way it should. It’s physical work and it can get quite hot inside the compound, especially during the peak of summer. We don't have a fancy office or a lobby. If you come to see us, you’ll likely find us in our work clothes out on the floor. We’ve been at this location for years, and the Aapa Hotel nearby is where we usually grab a quick bite or some tea. Jay Bhavani Press Works is a place built on hard work and the daily grind of the metal industry. We just keep the machines going and get through the orders as they come.
