J&K College Of It & Management Studies

We are located at 73 A/D in Gandhi Nagar, which is a pretty well-known part of Jammu. The college has been operating here for a while now, mostly dealing with students who want to get into IT or management. It’s a busy area, and finding parking can be a real headache some mornings, but we manage. The building isn't anything fancy, just a regular place with some computer labs and lecture rooms. We spend a lot of our time trying to keep the systems running and making sure the internet doesn't act up too much, which happens more often than we'd like. Students come from all over Jammu and Kashmir to sit in these classes. You’ll usually see groups of them standing outside near the gate during breaks, just talking or grabbing a quick snack from the vendors nearby. The atmosphere is quite casual; we don't go for that stiff, corporate feel here. It’s more about getting the work done and helping people understand their subjects. Sometimes the winters get really cold, and the rooms feel a bit drafty, so we all end up wearing heavy sweaters and drinking way too much tea to stay warm. It’s just a normal day-to-day life for us in this office. We handle admissions, keep track of exams, and try to help the students whenever they have problems with their schedules. It’s a small team, so everyone knows everyone else’s business.
