Jainex Steel

We are over here at A/201 in the Nirman building, right across from that Havmor Restaurant in Navrangpura. It’s a busy spot and the traffic outside can be pretty loud during the day. Our space isn't huge, just a regular office where we handle all our steel business. We’ve been here for a while now, and most people around here know us. We deal with all sorts of steel products, like pipes and rods and different sheets. My brother and I mostly run the show, though we have a couple of guys who help with the heavy stuff. The office is usually full of stacks of papers and samples of different metal grades. It gets a bit messy, but we know where everything is. Lunch is usually a quick bite, sometimes from the restaurant across the street if we're feeling fancy. We spend a lot of our time on the phone with suppliers or trying to figure out delivery schedules. Navrangpura has changed a lot since we started, with more shops and cars every year. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just selling steel to people who need it for their projects. Sometimes the heat in the afternoons makes the office a bit stuffy, but we have a fan that keeps things moving. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just a local business trying to get the orders right and keep things moving. We stay until about six or seven most nights.
