If you head down to Mandvi In Pole, right opposite Gatrads Pole in Madhupura, you’ll find our place, Jain Metal Corporation. We’ve been at No. 1561 for a good while, dealing with all sorts of metal parts, sheets, and whatever else people in the trade are looking for. It’s an old part of the city, so the lanes are narrow and things can get pretty crowded during the middle of the day. We spend most of our time moving stock around, checking orders, and talking to the truck drivers who bring in the supplies. It’s heavy work and our hands are usually a bit dirty from the grease and iron dust, but that’s the nature of the business. We don't really do much in the way of big offices or slick presentations. Instead, we have stacks of metal and a desk where we keep track of everything. The neighbors know us, and we know them. Sometimes the heat in the warehouse gets a bit much, especially in the summer, but we keep the fans going and stay busy. Whether someone needs a specific piece of steel or just wants to know if we have a certain pipe in stock, we just look through the stacks and tell them what we’ve got. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, and we’ve been doing it this way at this location since we started. There is no magic to it, just metal and hard work.
