Jai Pharma

You can find us at the Harekrishna Complex, which is tucked behind City Gold on Ashram Road here in Ahmedabad. It is number 112 if you are looking for it. Ashram Road is always moving and loud, but our spot is a little more tucked away in the back. Jai Pharma has been operating from this building for a while now. We mostly deal with getting medicines to where they are needed for the local shops. It is not a glamorous job. We spend a lot of time on the phone and checking long lists of stock. The office is usually full of boxes and papers scattered around the desks. Sometimes the lift in the complex is slow or doesn't work, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. We know the other folks in the building too, as it’s a mix of different small businesses around here. We just try to keep things moving and make sure no mistakes happen with the stock count. Being behind City Gold is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, but we have some old fans going to keep the air moving. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to do our bit and keep the business running steady. Every day is pretty much the same, which is fine by us. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families.
